Back in July Dallin took part in a Cub Scout awards ceremony. He got to be the scout flag bearer.
He had earned quite a few belt loops and a couple of patches.

4th of July
Our Independence day was a pretty wet one – so no fireworks – BUT – there was quite a bit of puddle splashing going on!
We also had a special guest appearance from Honest Abe who shared a special message with us.
Even a wet holiday is a good holiday!
Dallin’s Origami Birthday Party
For Dallin’s birthday this year, he wanted an origami theme. That was cool for me – he actually made all the decorations!
We also did lots of swimming.
With lots of water gun attacks by this guy on those poor kids.
We were so glad so many came.
Time for cupcakes!
And of course presents.
Dallin had to do the Papa game to find the present from Grandma and Papa.
Dallin had a wonderful birthday!!
