All kids go through different phases of things. It is just so fun to watch a third child do exactly the same things that the first two did. Layton has now entered the shoe fascination stage.

Big shoes, little shoes, boy shoes, girl shoes. It doesn’t matter to Layton. He doesn’t discriminate. He loves them all.
And if he is not wearing them, then he is bringing them to you like a little puppy dog. It really is kind of funny how much he is like a puppy dog. He’ll bring you your slippers. He does tricks for treats. He’ll lick food right out of your hand. He comes running at you when he sees you. He turns everything into a chew toy. He gets supper excited when you play with him. He follows you around where ever you go. And he can give you the saddest puppy dog eyes that you’ve ever seen. So when people ask us if we might want a puppy, we just tell them no thanks, we already have one :)
That is so cute! I love watching little ones walking around in all types of shoes. We did a yard sale Saturday with the Jammes family. At one point Abi came outside in her princess shoes holding her shoes that fit...as if she was going to sell them off. It was so cute!
ReplyDeleteOooohhhh! I forgot how precious they all were at that age. You could write a childrens book about shoes. Glad to see you are back blogging, I missed you. I know you can't do it every day but I really miss it when you don't.
ReplyDeleteLove you!!
Big shoes, little shoes, what begins with S? Slithery Shiney snakes with a slug upon his chest. Sneeky, Sloppy tennises wtih a knot you cannot loose. Go Layton!
