While driving down the highway on a Sunday morning, we were quietly listening to uplifting music. Out of nowhere, we hear a shout from the back of the van as Dallin yells out, “I’m a chicken.” For some reason this broke our silent reflective mood (I can’t imagine why) and resulted in cascades of laughter. Now, when I am playing with the kids, I have taken to randomly shouting out, “I’m a chicken.” They look at me like I am crazy (probably am) and I collapse in fits of giggles. You all should try it. It really is fun.
Wish I could be a fly on the wall to watch all the FUN! I'm going to have to give it a whirl!
ReplyDeleteWe used to tell the joke "ask me if I'm a tree" when we got giggly. Of course, the "no" answer causes even more giggle fits. I think I'll have to try the chicken line next time!

ReplyDeleteWhat I meant to say was, Wouldn't life be so boring without children?

When I see him i am going to ask him what kind of chicke he is. I love inside jokes with the family. Good ob Dallin giving something for the family to joke about.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo, Katheryn! It has such a nice composition to it, and it always helps with the subject is sweetly smiling. Way to go. Enlarge it, and frame it!
