Trunk Or Treat Bristol Style

We were lucky enough this weekend to go visit some of my family and since it also happened to be Halloween, we went to the Trunk or Treat there too. Both wards participated and it was so much fun to see so many extended family and friends, some of which I haven’t seen for years.

People really went all out with their trunk decorations!

A few of my favorite ones were “Happy Hallo-McQueen”

“BEE-ware” with a couple of very scary bee keepers

I tried to get Layton to take a picture with the Bee Keepers, but this is what I got instead:

This one was my absolute favorite – the “Woman Cave”

One really cool thing about this trunk-or-treat is that they open it up to the whole community and even serve soups/chili for dinner. Talking to a few people the following day, they estimate that they handed out little treat bags to over 400 kids. Add in all the parents and that was quite a crowd!

  1. Nothing like double trunk or treats! You must be hooked up on the goods! Looks so fun! I bet your Family was in Heaven having you all with them! I have missed so much on the blogs the past few days! Love the photo of you laying on the hammick! I would like to hang on one with you.. kick our feet up eat some fresh baked cookies and watch the kids run and play! Heaven! Miss you guys!

  4. I was looking at your post and Isaac came up and remembered the tin man from our trunk or treat. It was funny! I don't know how you can stand being so far from your family Katheryn. but it does make that time spent with them so sweet.
Are you glad that Halloween is done? Like Erin's post said how many times can you celebrate it? we had too many too! but the kids never get of it, do they?

  5. Fancy! That looks like a lot of fun. I think I could deal with Halloween if it were just a bunch of trunk or treats and no trick or treats!
I just looove the picture of Layton "with" the beekeepers!
