Santa visited and left lots of goodies.
He also enjoyed the goodies we left for him.
Then the ripping began.
Squeals of delight were heard.
Exclamations of this being the ‘Best Christmas Ever’ were made.
Toys were played with.
More toys were played with.
Breakfast was eaten. (French toast made with crusty French bread and topped with orange cream sauce. Yum!)
And at Nana’s house, a surprise visit from some neighbors who let the kids take a ride on their horses.
A very interesting Nativity play.
With an adorable innkeeper.
A handsome, goofy Joseph.
Who at just the right moment knew how to be reverent and sweet.
A shepherd who kept his costume on for all of 5 minutes and later went digging for gold in his diaper. Luckily he didn’t find anything.
All in all, a pretty great day!
I don't know how you come up with all the incredible recipes. As if the fruit crepes weren't devine enough, this breakfast was so incredible. Oh, and the Christmas Day present opening was great too.
ReplyDeleteLet me just say that the photo od Mady palying with her toys was soooo funny! Only in Florida! It looks like everyone was nice in your family. Glad you all had a great Christmas!
