In recent weeks, Layton has decided he likes stuffed animals. Most specifically, teddy bears and puppy dogs. You know how a lot of children will become attached to one stuffed animal or other object, well not Layton. He has to have as many as he can carry.
At least he is not really particular though and attached to one single thing. When it is time for bed, I can say “It’s time to go night-night” and he’ll protest a little and sometimes even run away from me. But, if I instead say, “Let’s go get your bears and go to bed”, he’ll run to where ever he last had his bears, grab every one he can find, run to his room, and throw them in the bed. Then I can set him in there and he’ll go right to sleep without any protesting what so ever. He is such a funny little boy!
I totally love when kids are attached to things. It is the cutest thing to me! Hayden's Had an elephant since he was 6 years old. We even had his picture professionally taked with Elfie!
ReplyDeleteToo sweet!
(I think Laurel meant 6 months old cuz I saw him with that thing as a baby)
ReplyDeleteKate is the same way at bedtime with her Minnie. You are lucky that he isn't attached to a particular one though, cuz if Minnie is missing, nothing else will do!
