Layton is probably like every other child out there – they go through phases of things that interest them to point of almost obsession. In the months before his birthday, Layton’s obsession revolved around Angry Birds. So it should come as no surprise that this is what the theme of his party was!
All the games we played had to do with Angry Birds. First was pin the tail on the red bird.
Layton thought it was hilarious that Dallin’s was so far off the mark. I’m pretty sure Dallin did that on purpose just to make Layton laugh.
Then the mean pigs hid all of the bird eggs. Because it was raining outside, they hid all the eggs inside and the kids went in search of them. They girls you may not recognize in these photos are the kids’ friends from across the street, Anastasia and Rita.
Then the giant pig arrived and it was take down time!!!
You’ll notice Nathan didn’t stay behind the pig for long. Even though they were using marshmallows, it was still dangerous place to be!
Then it was cake time!
Everyone sang him happy birthday,
and he blew out his candles in just one blow. He was very proud of that fact.
The best part of the day – PRESENTS!
Thanks so much to everyone that gave him something. He loved it all!

Well, that proves it....I am not a very good Mema or even an Aunt. I totally forgot. I have got to set up my calendar again. I am missing out on so much.
I do love you all and got your phone call. I don't have a minute to myself anymore.
Hard to believe Layton could be that old already! Seems like just yesterday he was that cute lil baby as we worked in primary together. That party looked like awesome you could be hired out as a professional Party planner. The cake looked awesome, the games so cool and oh how I love the people who attended! Love u all! Happy birthday Layton!
Beautiful day Kat
