I’m Cute and I know it

Layton crawled up in my lap to snuggle with me.

I asked, “Do you know that you are very cute?”

Layton, “Yes.”

Me, “How do you know?”

Layton, “I looked in the mirror.  I saw me. And I was cute.”

You can’t argue with that!
