It just recently came to my attention that a lady at church has been walking around with a squirrel in her shirt. Yep, you read that right.
At a church activity I was sitting across from her and the other counselor in the bishopric walked up to her and asked, “Did you bring Gator with you?” while he appeared to be peaking down the front of her shirt. And much to my surprise she reached right into her shirt and pulled out the little squirrel you see above. Actually, she said it isn’t exactly a squirrel, it is called a Sugar Glider and it is a relative of the kangaroo. She has had him for over a year and carries him with her everywhere, including to church. She said that he is mostly nocturnal, so he just curls up in the space between her boobs and sleeps all day while she is out and about.
Wild, right? Literally. And don’t start thinking that this is some crazy lady at church, she is actually a very sweet, very intelligent person who I’ve always looked up to. Although truth be told, now instead of looking up to her I find myself staring at her boobs every time she walks by trying to see if she brought her pet with her. Needless to say, she is very popular with the kids at church. They love her and her little squirrel too.

I know isn't that wild? Every time I see her all I do is check out her goods. I can not STOP! Abi loves that thing. I worry one day it is going to get free at church and all the kids are going to go wild trying to love on it. I have a whole scene in my head.... You are right she is really sweet though. She loves that thing as if it were a child.

You know I have heard that too!!! But I always thought that they were joking around! But I found out just now that they were not kidding!!! :) I think that it is very crazy to! I wonder what would happen if it got loose too?!? I think that I would start screaming!!! :) That lady is very sweet! All the kids just love her!!! I can hear how much she loves that thing. When she said Gator I thought that she meant like a dog or somehting that was very close too her! But it turned out to be a sugar glider!!! :) That is just too funny!!!! Love always, Britt :)

I've pulled some interesting things out of my bra before but never a sugar-glider!! The two of us could go on tour together!!
