I’ll go back to posting stuff from Christmas soon, but today is kind of a sad day at our house that I needed to commiserate. We have had Nathan with us all day everyday (except one) for the last 16 days.
It is just not going to have the same feel here today without him. I have gotten so used to him being here.
So have the kids. Even Layton, who clings to me like no other has begun loving up on Nathan more and more.
It is a sad day for us that Nathan has to go back to work today, but we know that he is doing it all for us. Love you Nathan/Daddy! We miss you!

Amazing photography! You totally caught the spirit of "Daddy". I love him, too. He feels more like a son/friend than an in-law.
It is sad that dad's have to go to work. Aren't you glad to be a mom so you don't miss a beat! DAD's ARE AWESOME! P.S. Tell Mandy thanks for the compliment on Ida. We think she's pretty adorable too!
I can relate too. Of course, we were glad when he finally got a job, but I had gotten used to him being around all of the time and it took some getting used to. Work stinks!
