It started out a very bright sunny day. Gorgeous weather all the way on our drive to Atlanta. We arrive. Get unpacked. Get ready to go to the game. And whoosh….the heavens opened. Serious deluge. That lasted for hours. Which for us meant a 2 hour rain delay. So we just made the best of it and waited around in the hallways, splashing through puddles.
Dallin got him a new hat to help keep the rain off :)
Finally the rain began to clear, so we went to our water logged seats.
Lucky for us, that very night, one of the Braves most respected and best pitchers was being inducted into the hall of fame.
It was a really sweet and surprisingly emotion ceremony.
Honestly, the ceremony was the best part of the evening! It was completely worth all that waiting.
We left the game early because of the long rain delay, the game start at about the time we normally put the kids to bed. So, we blame ourselves for that night’s loss. When we left, the Braves were winning, but after we left things just went downhill. Every game that we have ever been too in person, the Braves have won. And even the two other games that Nathan went to by himself that weekend, the Braves won. So we just wanted to apologize to every Braves fan out there – we’re sorry we made them lose that night because we left early!!!

Great photos. How 'bout one of Dallin showing his new tooth?
Awesome pictures! Looks like you guys had fun and made the best of the situation.
My parents always called said "well kids, we're makin' memories. you won't forget this, now will you?" And he's right, all the things that went wrong or not as scheduled we can most certainly remember. And I completely accept your apology! ;)
