Mandy was laying on the couch watching Sesame Street. She turned to me and said:
“Mommy, can you get me a tissue?”
Me: “Why do you need a tissue?”
Mandy: “My nose is very sniffy.” She then demonstrated that by making a few sniffing noises.
Me: “You know where the tissues are, you can get one.”
Mandy: “Please Mommy. You get one for me. You're my best friend.”
SAY WHAT???? She is only three. Is it even legal for a three year old to try to pull something like that on me????
Sad thing is – I stood up and got her a tissue.
I was at the store yesterday and a little girl (maybe 5) was asked by her mom to go out and tell her dad that she needed a different size. I heard the little girl go out and say mommy needs a different size and she said if you don't get it for her she will never talk to you again. I had to chuckle. Wonder if it is a little girl thing or if my boys will try these tricks:)Love that she is lying there in her princess outfit too as she makes her "requests".
