Mother’s Day really was a beautiful day. The weather was gorgeous, the church service was uplifting, and best of all my kids were adorable.
I received so many wonderful presents for Mother’s Day. Dallin made this at school from one of his old shoes:
The Primary (thanks Kelly!) gave these precious little clips to all of the moms at church:
Aren’t they just darling?
Nathan took the kids to the store and let them pick out a few things for me:
One of the things was a humming bird feeder. I’m so excited to see if we can attract any humming birds!
That evening, I made dinner. Since it was my day, I cooked what I was in the mood for. This very yummy minestrone soup:
And for dessert…cookie dough truffles. I had just eaten some at Cassie’s baby shower and I was so in the mood for some more. Soooo good. I promise I’ll post the recipe for them soon.
All in all, an excellent day. Days like that just make being a mom that much better.
Bump the recipe for the truffles, just bring us some when you come home this weekend!!! :) Glad you had a great day!!!
