We are so blessed to be surrounded by friends. Sadly though, a few have moved away and we miss them terribly. Like the Plemmons and the Thompsons and a few others as well.
But what a happy day it is, when some of our long lost friends come back for a visit!
We were so happy to get to spend an evening with Melissa and her three girls this past week. A whole big group of us met up for a meal together at the park. Even though Melissa and her girls had to leave to go back up to Tennessee, and we will miss her terribly, it still makes me happy to know that we have so many other good friends here that have children so close in age to my own. Not to mention, they are all good kids, that are being taught high moral values and are all kids that I would be proud to have as best friends to my children. It really is a wonderful blessing to have such a large group of good kids to hang out together. And what is really wonderful, is that picture doesn’t even show all of them! There are many more friends that weren’t even able to come that night that are a part of our “friendly” group. I love being surrounded by friends and having my kids surrounded by friends too! What a great way to grow up!
It is amazing to me that the picture is even missing kids that were at the picnic, yet we had a hard time fitting them all in the frame!
ReplyDeleteWe had such a wonderful time at the picnic, and I am also glad that we are all so close and our children will be able to grow up together - we *are* blessed!
that pic is so cute! Dallin looks sad miserable in that post! No more poison ivy please!
ReplyDeleteWe had a great time! I agree completely, and I'm greatful we have frinds in the gospel that teach there children the church standards. We need to have the get togethers more often. We all enjoyed ourselves!
