Healthy Baby

Layton had his 4 months check up today. He weighed 13 pounds and 6 ounces and was 25 inches long. That put him at the 20th percentile for weight and the 50th percentile for height. The doctor said that he looked very healthy and that it was actually refreshing to see a baby that was a little on the thinner side considering the number of children he sees that are overweight and obese. Just to give some comparison stats, Dallin at the same age weighed 13 lbs 13 oz and was 25 1/2 inches tall. Given that, I think that Layton will probably be very similar in build to Dallin and his daddy. Layton also received 4 shots today, so I have a feeling we are going to have a pretty grumpy baby on our hands for the next day or two.
