At least not when you have a curious 1 year old roaming the house. Chocolate and Easter go hand in hand, right? Seems logical to put chocolate in Easter baskets and give it to your children for Easter. And so I did. But I very carefully made sure that Layton’s basket contained things that would be less messy for him to eat. However, I didn’t count on Mandy and Dallin leaving their candy in inconspicuous places where Layton would find them at random times over the next few days. I think that we have cleaned up chocolate off of Layton and off of his surroundings about six times in the last three days. I don’t have any idea why I thought that Mandy and Dallin would actually keep their candy out of Layton’s reach. Wishful thinking I guess.

I love Layton's face! He's like "What? Is there a problem?" Too cute!
i love the little paw prints behind him of him crawling around with chocolate paws! very cute. we made little bags for each of the nursery kids and didn't think about the mess those little ones would make. there is one child who can't have any milk products, so her mom won't have trouble cleaning her up! good luck to the rest.:)
Oh good heavens, I think that is my favorite picture you have posted. The combined looks on Nathan and Layton's faces are priceless!
