Ever since we went to the beach last weekend, Mandy has pretty much been obsessed with returning. A few days ago I told her to go put some clothes on because we needed to make a quick trip up to Wal-Mart. She came walking out with her bathing suit and a pair of shorts on. I asked her why she was wearing a swimsuit and she told me, “It’s for in case.” In case what, Wal-Mart is suddenly going to open a swimming pool right in the middle of the store? The next morning, I told her to get dressed so that we could take Dallin to school. She comes out with a white shirt and a skirt on. Under the white shirt I could see a little pink shining through. I asked her what she had on and she showed me her swimsuit and said, “It’s for in case you need to take me to the beach today.” What a smart little girl! Only three, and she already knows that going to the beach is a NEED not just a WANT.

At least she's learning at a young age the importance of being prepared!! That's what I'm going to wear all week at camp!
Kinda like me NEEDING for you to come visit....or do I just WANT you to come? Hmmmmm?
The beach is a need! I know that I need some right now!
Everyday for the past week, Haley has been coming home from school and putting her bathing suit on "just in case" we decide to go to the pool. I remember being like that - if only life were that simple for me now!
I agree, the beach is DEFINITELY a need... especially for us landlocked folks! I am counting down the days until I can come to FL again & hopefully get to go to the beach this time!
