My children are brilliant! Only 4 and 6 years old respectively and already they know how to play a mean game of chess. It doesn’t hurt that they completely make up their on rules and moves, but they do actually come surprisingly close to playing it correctly. Not to mention it keeps them quietly entertained for long minutes at a time, and what mother wouldn’t be happy to have a few minutes of children actually playing QUIETLY. Granted, about five minutes after this picture was taken they were bouncing off the walls with pent up energy, but still, I sure enjoyed those few minutes of quiet while they lasted!

Does Dallin have a bruise around his left eye? or is that a shadow.
I was about to ask the same thing... does he have a black eye?
It is just a little bruise. He has had it for about a week. It has pretty well faded now. He is not even sure how he got it. With all the crazy stuff he does there is no telling!
