Reason #248 why I might just be Wife of the Year

I let him stay friends with his high school sweetheart.  I know.  Am I not the coolest wife ever?  All joking aside, I happen to really like his very first girlfriend.  In fact, I stay in more contact with her that he does!  Her name is Jennifer and I will be forever grateful to her for teaching Nathan how to do his hair ;)

She has a very cute family that I finally got to meet for the first time this past Monday.  Thank goodness for blogs!  I felt like I already knew them and we didn’t have any problem falling right into the rhythm and comfort of old friends.  What is really funny, is that Jennifer also used to hang out with one of my other friends husbands – Erin’s husband Jason.  So we all got together for dinner and Erin had not let Jason know who all was coming to dinner that night.  Imagine his surprise when Jennifer showed up on his doorstep!  Ha!

It was a great evening with lots of good stories and laughs,

lots of playing,

and lots of dressing up (don’t ask me why Mandy is making a face like that!)

Thanks Erin for having us over and thanks Jennifer for taking an evening out of your vacation to come hang with us!

I think it is great that all you guys are friends. I have always said "If they are good enough to date, they are good enough to be my friend." It looks like you had a great time.

By the way, what is a Grover?

We don't need a list to know why you're wife of the year. We know Nathan has great taste! But that is super cool of you! Looks like a blast from the past!

We had such a wonderful time! I really hope that we can all get together and go camping this summer.
I love that in the picture of all of us Jason and I are both downing the dew...and look on Mandy's face isn't so bad - but what is Emma doing?!

We're the same way! No old girlfriends, but I definitely keep in contact with Jon's old friends more than he does. I'm usually telling him their news.
