To celebrate the end of school, all of the Kindergarten classes had a family day Luau. They played games and we had a picnic lunch.
Then they had their “awards” ceremony, where everyone in the class received “special” awards. Dallin received awards for perfect attendance, being a super reading, a math wiz, being a super student who worked hard and helped everyone, and he even received an award for being the citizen of the month.
After the awards the kids did a little program with songs and lines that they memorized about the alphabet.
My favorite song was the “Florida Alphabet”, where each letter represented something about Florida. The best line in the song was N for all the old people that live in Naples. Too cute.
They also did a song to the tune of “The Adams Family” (snap-snap), called The Allen’s Apples Class. Again, super cute.
It was a great day and Dallin is so excited about summer!

What's up with the sun shades?
HooRah for Dallin. I hope you photograph his awards and he will have many many more in school. Especially the perfect attendance. That is very impressive as well as the Reading and Math awards. Way to go.
Little Mandy will do just as well I am sure. I'm glad to talk to her anytime. and Layton too! At least in these pics, you weren't having to carry him around all the time while he was at Dallin's school. Love you, Mama
He got the sunglasses in his treat bag that day and just HAD to wear them.
No I didn't have to carry Layton around all day, but I did have to keep him from climbing onto the tables to steal all the other kid's candy!!!!
