The wrong lyrics that were just right

I love it when little kids sing.  They almost never get the lyrics just right.  You know the song “Oh, My Darling Clementine”.  Mandy has recently begun singing part of that song over and over all the time.  Only she changed the lyrics up just a little.  She sings it like this:

I’m a darling,

I’m a darling,

I’m a darling,

I’m a darling……

I think she got it just right.

What a sweet, perfect picture of Mandy. I love it because she looks so sweet and darling, but you can just see in her smile and her eyes a hint of child mischievousness!
I love hearing the kids make up words or sing the wrong words. I think they do better than the songwriters sometimes - Just like Mandy.

Cute! Mandy is a darling! Precious picture! She reminds me of you when you were her age but with blonde hair!

P.S. She still needs a little sister!

I sing the wrong words still. My hearing is crazy though. It is super cute when kids sing the wrong lyrics...not so cute on adults as it his HILARIOUS! My nieces used to sing "I do, cherish you" by 98 Degrees as "I do, shabby shoes" I'll NEVER get over it.
