Kids are Weird

At least, my kids are weird.  For a little while now we have been noticing that just a short time after we put Layton’s shoes on the perfectly parallel velcro straps end up like this:

At first, we thought maybe Mandy or Dallin was doing that to his shoes just for fun.  But no.  It’s Layton doing it to his own shoes.  Why?  We have no clue.  But he does it all the time.  Perhaps it is his own fashion statement.  His own little way of asserting his independence by determining what his shoes look like.
