Field Trip at the Diamond D Ranch

On the last day of school before Spring Break, Mandy had a VERY fun field trip to a horse and cattle ranch.  First they learned a little about the types of animals that live on the ranch.

Then they took a little nature walk that ended at the fish pond where they got to feed the fish.

And boy those were some hungry fish!

Then they took a little pony ride.  Mandy loved it :)

After that, we went on a wagon ride out to feed the cattle.

Then we stopped by the goat and emu pens to give them a treat.

And then they got to do the drum roll, which Mandy had been waiting all day to do!

It started out nice and slow.

Then went faster,

and faster!

Mandy said it was her very favorite thing.  She loved learning about how to be a cowgirl for a day!

Thanks Nana for watching Layton so that I could go!
